Makeup by Shailee

I had a chance to work with Shailee for my best friend’s wedding, for the Sangeet look and it was a pleasure to say the least. Her understanding of the getting together a look as a whole (clothes, hair, etc) and expertise with the brush + technique is commendable. I was in absolute love with the final look! Moreover, she goes out of her way to leave behind a small (and super cute) pouch with all post - make up essentials you may need. She is so sweet and fun to work with - a rare but important quality for an MUA given that the process takes a while. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to look their best!

Shailee is an incredible makeup artist and she did a fab job for me! She was everything I wanted in a makeup artist- Very proactive, intuitive and communicative. I’m so happy I chose her! To have dreaded getting makeup done, to actually enjoying not just the end result but also sitting in the chair- the whole experience for me was therapeutic! The whole team did a fab job! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience with my bridal makeup artist. With Shailee, I knew I was in capable hands. Not only is she incredibly talented, but her calming demeanour instantly put me at ease during what could have been a stressful two days. A couple of days before the wedding, she sat with me at her adorable studio space and took time to understand exactly what I wanted. My makeup was elegant, natural, and lasted throughout the entire celebration without needing a single touch-up. Sangeet and the after party was a good 10 hours of dancing and sweating but the make up didnt move at all. Not to mention, her attention to detail ensured that every aspect of my look was picture-perfect. Her partner for my wedding was the equally talented Avni, who was just as great as a hair artist. Their professionalism and punctuality was an added bonus. I wholeheartedly recommend Shailee and absolutely cannot wait to have her be my make up artist again for any other event possible.

Shailee's work speaks for her. She is very hands-on, solution-oriented approach, is punctual (very important for me), is understanding of requests - my mother-in-law had too many demands like most aunties "Don't do this, don't do that" "This colour doesn't suit me" She changed her mind a million times but Shailee and her team were supremely polite. She is thoroughly professional in handling billing and of course, her work. Her hygiene practices are impeccable! Not a single product was tainted or dirty and she came home for 3 days back to back with her kit feeling brand new each day. I was pregnant and she was very mindful of not wearing perfume that would affect my nausea. The thoughtfulness is just bonus. Most importantly she powered through even tho she fell severely sick (nothing contagious). Overall great human to collaborate with! She is the complete package. She did 3 looks for me and 3 looks for my mother-in-law and we did not stop getting compliments.

She will go lengths to accommodate the client’s request and make sure you are happy. In between of all the stress of your wedding, she will make sure you are relaxed and that you look your best. Got to know shailee’s work through instagram and was instantly drawn towards her natural and subtle bridal makeup look.It was an absolute pleasure that she did my reception look though it was a last minute decision .She listened to my preferences ,was professional and punctual and created a stunning ,natural look that lasted all day.I felt confident and received many compliments.Her bridal pictures would speak for themselves but if reviews would help i would definitely recommend her for your big day.
