I chose Gargi for my wedding, Sangeet and my haldi events. I AM SO SO GRATEFUL FOR HER. I RECOMMEND HER 100% She has the best sense of what is good for your face and your mind! Having horrible make up trials before her where i did not look like myself. I went to Gargi and said i just want to look like myself, i love my brown brown skin colour and i don't care about my discoloration. Gargi just kept saying it's your day we will do what makes you feel comfortable. Also she heard what my cocktail outfit was and offered a special price because she was so excited about my outfit. I have no regrets that she did that event for me as well. She even let me fall asleep and take naps because i was so overwhelmed during the hectic days. Gargi Shah is an absolute delight to work with. She maintains her timeline and makes sure the bride does as well. All you have to do is tell her what you need on the day of your event WRT the dress and makeup. Gargi will go out of her way to make you feel beautiful. I wanted an all natural makeup, less amount, less bling and Gargi delivered on point. I didn't even have to use fake eyelashes to make my eyes look pretty, she did on pure talent with my no makeup look!

She did a fabulous job on me. My makeup was on point, very natural. I love what she does with the eyes. She regards for the customer's wishes. My wedding pictures speak for her work. All the future brides in my family want to book her for their makeup.

I reached out to Gargi after having a terrible experience with another makeup artist and I was cautious this time. However, Gargi turned out to be an awesome professional who kept things straight from the beginning. She called for a trial at the earliest possible so that we can start working on different looks required for my two functions. After the trial, we discussed different looks on whatsapp, along with my hair do. For both my functions, she was at the venue before time to have some buffer for setting up her lights, equipments, etc. I had absolutely a lovely time working with her! Everyone loved her work and a lot of my friends even asked for her contact. One thing to mention here is, Gargi gives you all her time, doesn't work on schedule basis trying to fit multiple appointments that might rush her. This is something that is extremely valuable in her profession and she addresses her clients concerns above everything else! Go for Gargi, she keeps you calm while working on you and makes you feel at ease right before the big day starts!

I always had it against makeups. It's always a hit or miss for me or other people too. My perspective changed when I had Gargi do my makeup for my wedding. When she was working, I felt like my face was the canvas and she was the painter. Her craft and meticulousness brought a beauty I didn't know I had. Even though she's a pro, she doesn't have that sort of stiffness that title entails. She was funny, warm and endearing, which quickly put me at ease. When she worked, I never felt that I was just a client, but was treated as though I was a long time friend. Keep at it Gargi. You truly are wonderful!!!

In a nutshell, I couldn't have asked for a better make-up artist. I'm based overseas and got married in India so I was very nervous about booking someone based on reviews. I first met Gargi during our make-up trial (just 4 days before the wedding) and from the second she started working on me, I had complete faith that she would do an amazing job. She has a nice natural style, practices good hygiene and ofcourse has a very kind and fun-loving energy. On the wedding day, she really did go above and beyond - helping with my hair amd jewellery as we were running late. I got so many compliments on the makeup and hair looks. Plus, everyone who met Gargi - loved her as well.
