I was in Canada when i booked Amrita to do my makeup on my big day and all other functions around it. In my search for an ideal make up artist i had reached out to a dozen. I had checked out her work and had quite liked it but it was when i spoke to her i was sure that she is the only one i would want for my D-day. She was a delight to talk to humble, friendly, honest and very professional. She also gave me some skincare tips in between the time till my wedding. When i finally met her i was sure that i could trust her and completely surrendered to her creativity. The result was me looking stunning beyond imagination. I would definitely recommend all to let her do her magic on you on your special day!

A chance meeting with Amrita during a holiday led me to book her for my wedding day. Just one look at her work and I knew instantly that she will be the best choice for my make up. I did not even search elsewhere for any other make-up artist. Being someone who believes in less is more, I requested her to keep the look as close to my natural tones as possible. She agreed but on one condition, that I be open to using longer eyelashes and I'm so happy I did not resist this idea too much :) I met her next, 5 months later, on my wedding day and blindly and happily trusted her. And Boy am I glad that I did!! Not only did her subtle work highlight all the right features it also made me extremely comfortable in my own skin - like the best version of me :) She gave me a beautiful fresh look for my winter day wedding, it complimented my lehenga colours effortlessly and lasted through the day. Pawan, her hairstylist and her were both very quick, efficient and worked with an open mind to my suggestions. Her calming presence was reassuring and I totally enjoyed the entire bridal make-up experience. Amy was a blessing in disguise and I'm so so happy that I trusted my instincts and decided to go along with her. To all the brides out there, go ahead and hire her services to look your gorgeous self on your big day!!

Amrita is a sheer genius. I booked her service for my wedding day over a phone call and then met her directly on my wedding day. She knew exactly what would suit me and gave me such a natural and classy look. Also she is such an accommodating professional and puts you completely at ease while she works her magic !! I would recommend every bride to go for her if you want to look like the best version of yourself and be completely at ease at your biggest day! ????

Subtle in her approach towards make up, warm in her interactions and sincere at her work - that would be Amrita for you! I had constantly been advised on how I should make sure I look 'like myself' at my wedding. Amrita's openness to my views on how I would like each look to be, her patience and willingness to walk that extra mile to make me comfortable and most importantly help me look like the best version of me - worked out magically. What was extremely touching was how she kept at it even when she was sick. Needless to say, she was always on time and wrapped up '5 minutes' before time! (My mother was super pleased ;)) For me, the time I spent in the makeup room was not just about her highlighting the right features but were also spent relaxing, taking a break from the madness - since she's excellent company and truly inspiring when it comes to all that she has achieved! Here's recommending her to all you gorgeous brides - comes from someone who always questioned the concept of a Make Up artist in the first place. She made me realise that a subtle addition to my face will complement me and simply help me glow a little more, shine a little longer and mostly get excellent photographs that will turn into memories of a lifetime! At the end of it while I was certain that I looked pretty, but she made sure I felt beautiful too.

Amrita is just fabulous at her work. She is so damn quick and makes u feel at ease... she did my bridal make up and I am glad I chose her. She knows what features to highlight and how. She guides you from the beginning. To top it all she is an amazing person while doing your make up she makes easy conversations and not only makes you look beautiful but makes you feel beautiful. So hire her on brides.. she is tooooo good.

Now, at the outset, I plead guilty of writing this review so late. Amrita, what a blessing you were! I am so glad that few of the artists were unavailable as I began hunting for a MUA very late (around November for a wedding scheduled in January). As luck may have it, I got to meet you at your lovely house in Kotabagh (it was mystic indeed!). I remember how you barely had bridal photographs to show (for me to decide). Now people, Amrita doesn't take pictures of her brides at all. I coaxed her to start taking competition seriously during my wedding time and (yeh), she is getting there. From using MAC Diva to brighten my cocktail, to those smokey eyes and peach lips for my wedding dinner, it was all so immaculate! I am not a big fan of foundation and layering powder etc, on the skin (thanks to my pahari genes for giving me clear skin) and unlike most of the other MUA who tend to be a little pushy, Amrita was very cooperative. We had decided on a specific look for my (day) wedding. Towards the end, I casually asked her to make my eye shadow sync with my lehenga colour. Now people, I will be sounding like a hypocrite for saying so as my lehenga was greenish/blue and I have been claiming that I am not a "too much makeup" person. But until the wedding day, I knew how she was with her work and I was confident that she was someone I could totally trust. I somehow went with my instinct and within minutes my eyes were full of green shadow which looked absolutely flawless. Amrita could deliver exactly in tandem with my vision. Amrita is a no fuss, no tantrum, easy going, MUA. She is very quick with her work and she is undoubtedly one of the best (Amrita, if you read this then this is a reminder for to you start taking pictures). I wish I could post pictures but the review doesn't allow me. For all the brides there, don't think. Just hire her services to make you look like a dream on your most important day. PS. Reena, who is her hair stylist is also unbelievable with her work.
