What makes a wedding out-of-this-world? Apart from the bride, groom and families? The planning and even better, the execution. So that's why when we came across Belief, an international network for wedding planners that showcases the great work planners do around the world and gives out awards, we were astounded at the talent and the quality and of course, attention-to-detail.
The guys at Belief recently announced results of the third edition of an exclusive online contest they held, for wedding professionals that happens only four times a year. The idea is to honour the very best weddings around the globe, put together by some of the best of the best wedding planners. With more than 260 submissions, the group were finally narrowed down to 12 winners by judges. Get ready to be gobsmacked because these award-winning wedding are anything but run-of-the-mill, they're gorg. Here are the winners and where they're from - a little inspiration never hurt anyone eh?
South Africa: By Victoria Jackson
Victoria planned a winter alpine styled wedding with a touch of glamour.
Ecuador: By Carolina Muzo
Carolina presented a romantic vintage wedding for 300 guests.
Guatemala: By Ingrid Labbe & Astrid Labbe Bianchi
Ingrid presented two different weddings; one of them had a Parisien theme and the other was Pakistani. Astrid (who works with ingrid) was awarded on the special photo category with a beautiful wedding in Tegucigalpa.
Mexico: By Cecilia Pineda Rosas
Cecilia showcased a romantic and luxurious nightly wedding.

Guadalupe showed an interesting tradition from Mexican weddings; the wedding parade.

Carolee is renowned for her hawaiian themed weddings and she won for exactly that!

Jeanette was awarded based on a stunning beach wedding for a couple from Hong Kong.

Serena came up with an impressive wedding for a lebanese couple whose theme was 'air' and this included hanging clouds, birds and flying performing artists.
Valentina impressed the judges with an amazing snowy wedding.

Rui presented with a wedding whose theme was literature and the Portuguese writer Eça de Queiroz (the favourite author of the couple).

Nemer was awarded for great work in lighting and decor with a fairy ancient garden theme at the wedding.
