WMG Red Carpet bride at Divani: The offbeat bride

Taking a refresher from all the reds, this particular piece was tucked away in the Diva'ni closet. While the other girls didn't quite get what the fuss was about this lehenga, there was something so unique about it, we knew we HAD to make someone wear it. Love how the skirt has no embroidery (just yard of textured silk fabric), and then the top is this royal deep purple with zardozi work and a plunging neckline. Very unique- and for those of you looking for some fashion forward inspiration for your mehendi or as sisters of the bride- this silk skirt with embroidered blouse combination is definitely worth bookmarking. The hair and makeup team of Shruti Sharma and Atul Sharma did some quick rework on Aakriti, pulling her braid into a messy bun with the most gorgeous, ruby pink chrysanthemums in her hair. From the bride: While I was unsure about this lehenga in the beginning, when I slipped into it, the skirt had so much drama that I instantly took a liking to it. The color of the blouse was lovely and this was definitely the most unusual piece in the store. I didn't want to continue wearing the boho braid I had worn in my previous look, so we removed the chain  from the hair and twisted my hair into a bun, keeping the braids at the top of my head intact. I loved the high fashion look!
