Varun Bahl at India Couture Week 2014: Day 3

If you were driving in Delhi yesterday at around 6 pm, you would know the torture everybody went through. The crazy rain, along with massive traffic jams ensured that a distance from gurgaon to Taj Palace was covered in 3.5 hours (No jokes people, we were stuck inside the car for 3.5 hoursss!!!) Ugh, and when you endure all that to go visit Day 3 of India Couture week, it better be worth it ! Specially when our photography partners The Creative lens were stuck for 3 hours as well!! Three designers showcased on Day 3- Monisha Jaisingh (she had a leather lehenga in her lineup!!!) , Varun Bahl and Rohit Bal. Here are our thoughts on Varun Bahl:
Wed Me Good Loves:
The color pallette was nice- the use of raspberry with teal was unexpected, as was the use of yellows with pops of teal and silver . However, the show did feel a tad bit dated to us, like we have seen all of this before , so overall we were left wanting for more !
The ruffled blouse with the lehenga -super chic, and the silver white anarkali is lovely
Raspberry and teal- like the colors together
Teal with yellow and silver looked quite nice as well
