#Trending: Cross-Culture Weddings With 2 Ceremonies & Oodles Of Style Inspiration!

BY Sakshi | 26 Dec, 2018 | 2 views | 3 min read

With more and more couples opting for cross-culture weddings these days, the trend is to celebrate both- the bride and the groom's culture in two separate functions, and we have been witness to two grand recent weddings with couples who did that! Deepika-Ranveer and Priyanka-Nick: these were two recent celeb weddings which had 2 wedding ceremonies each, and we think while it's great to have one fusion ceremony, it's a fab idea to have 2 weddings too.. one that WMG brides have been doing for a while now, so we thought of featuring some of our fave ones for you to take inspiration!

#DeepVeer Wedding: Konkani Wedding & Sindhi Anand Karaj

This one had a celebration of both their cultures and families, and interestingly, at the same venue- Lake Como! While Day 1 saw a traditional Konkani wedding with Deepika looking like the perfect South Indian bride in gold, Day 2 saw her being the quintessential North Indian bride in red at her Anand Karaj.

#Nickyanka Wedding: Christian & Hindu Wedding

This one took everyone by a pleasant surprise, since their Christian wedding broke more than just the internet! Yep, this one looked no less than a royal wedding with PeeCee opting for a custom-made Ralph Lauren gown with a massive train! Her Hindu wedding was on point too- looking totally different from the Christian nuptials with a pop of red everywhere- more like traditional with a twist!

Here are some fusion Real Weddings we featured on WMG, which are totally loaded with inspiration!

Kanak & Shan: Christian & Sikh Wedding

This beautiful couple's wedding in Dubai had a Christian wedding followed by a Sikh one, which had a lot of neat ideas that stood out- not only were the bride's outfits on point during both the celebrations, but we loved how different both  the wedding looks in terms of everything! While the Christian wedding had a simple feel- they went all out with colour at the Sikh one which made both the weddings so unique and different from each other!

Tina & Kumara: Christian & Hindu Wedding

This wedding in Sri Lanka was all pastel- be it the Christian or the Hindu ceremony, and it looked fabulous! The bride kept it simple and classy both the times, and the decor was the same too! We loved how simple everything was but still looked beautiful- including the beachside nuptials which looked so dreamy!

Manoshi & Atit: Christian & Hindu Wedding

This one is special since the bride had a Christian wedding since she always wanted to since she was a little girl! Yep, Manoshi had a Hindu wedding followed by a small little Christian ceremony in Mumbai which involved an exchange of vows and a toast since she always loved the idea! We loved the vibrancy of the Hindu wedding and how elegant the intimate Christian one was!

Ashwin & Niharika: Hindu & South Indian Wedding

This wedding in Thailand was your typical '2 States' wedding- a grand North Indian wedding at night followed by a morning South Indian wedding- and we loved how both of them looked so traditional and fresh! The bride adopting both the looks to perfection, and the decor very fresh and perfect!
