Trending: Anarkalis with Shorts for Mehendi Pool Parties?
BY The WMG Bride | 15 Feb, 2016 | 2 min read
Draped pants, done. Shrugs, done. Even our favourite capes are being ubiquitous - all over the place. While weddings and sangeet outfits are pretty much sorted, the only part where you can really experiment these days is at the Mehendi - which is usually a Pool party if you are attending a destination wedding. We found the most cutest most boldest outfit on WMG till date. And say with us - SEQUINS SHORTS!
But really, not just sequins shorts. These shiny beauties paired with a nice ethnic jacket and a pair of high heels. We first saw them on Anita Dongre's bridal campaign. While the traditional brides stood around, this lounge-y outfit was the centre of attention. Probably for the bride off-duty!
We are so so in love with this outfit from Anita Dongre. And while it's so simple for a day event, it can also light up the night oh so well. Accessorise well and you'll just be fine! Btw, it's available on Pernia's Pop Up Shop.
And the good thing about this outfit is the way you can DIY your way into it. Get a nice georgette or chiffon (anything transparent) long anarkali or kurti with centre open, like a jacket and wear a tank top with these pretty sequins shorts. So cute!
Spotted this lovely lady sporting this trend with Elan at a pool party Mehendi!
To make things easier for you - we even found three cute shorts on our radar today. DIY this lookup ladies! L-R: Free People Time To Shine Sequin Shorts at Shopbop; Villa Embellished Evening Shorts; Jabong Vero Moda Black Sequins
