The best of Pakistan Bridal Week 2015: Inspiration from across the border

You know we love Pakistani weddings, so much so that we look forward to featuring them in our real wedding showcase like this one here and here . So when the recent Pakistan Bridal Week concluded, we were all over it-  trend spotting silhouettes and colors that we could use over here. Favourite take away- the chic kurta and pants silhouette at Sana Safinaz, and the Dhoti and Jacket silhouette at Elan would make for lovely, statement outfits ! Here is a snapshot of our favourites so far.

Gorgeous Detailing at Elan

Our favourite Pak coutourier Elan showcased a range in muted pastels and earthy tones with some super unique silhouettes. Jackets with dhoti's, voluminous shararas and lehenga saris

A Kaleidiscope of color at Ali Xeeshan

The ever so bold Ali Xeeshan was as usual, a riot of color. Loved the all black ensembles with heavily embroidered dupattas.

Gorgeous lehengas at Nomi Ansari

Nomi Ansari was one of our favourites of the showcase, combining beautiful aqua tones in traditional lehengas and anarkalis.

Eggshell color Pallette at Fahad Hussayn

Special mention to the groom wear- elegant and ever so royal

Unique Silhouettes at Sana Safinaz

Absolutely love the kurta -pants silhouette at Sana Safinaz. Very chic, specially the one in ice blue and grey.
