Super Colorful & Personalised Wedding in Delhi
BY The WMG Bride | 22 Apr, 2016 | 4 min read
Chayanika and Aditya's wedding is proof that you can create a stunning wedding in less - from the cute pictures lined at the Engagement party to the sweet frames and pom pom rings at the Mehendi to the neat fairy lights and marigold flowers at the wedding, everything at this wedding was personalised thanks to the bride and groom. We loved her unique outfits, and the jewel tones in her wedding captured by Beginnings For You & Gautam Khullar Photography Photography.
Meet Chayanika & Aditya
"We met approximately 12 year ago through a mutual friend when we were both preparing for our engineering entrances. Little did we know that this chance meeting would turn into a strong friendship leading to 10 years of togetherness and finally marriage. We both hail from Delhi but we have always been in different cities throughout our dating period- 4 years of Engg and 2 years of jobs that took us to different places. Only when we came to Mumbai for our MBA, then only for the first time till now we have been in the same city," explains Chayanika. The Engagement

The Wedding
From The Bride:
"For us, we always wanted a very personalized and classy affair of a wedding so we started on everything a year ago. We wanted a bit of ourselves in whatever we plan for, so that everyone gets to know that it is our wedding - that it is Aditya and Chayanika's wedding, not any bride and groom. We took special care in arranging everything ourselves - right from the photographer to the decor to even the choice of cake and our respective outfits. We even took special care of the music that needed to be played in the background. Which is why we ended up playing one of our favourites like The Beatles. For me, my wedding was a dream come true for me. Aditya and me were very particular about the finer details of the wedding and we wanted an element of "us" in the entire wedding, right from engagement ceremony to the wedding. I would like to call my wedding classy, fun and traditional as each of these words describe the three functions respectively engagement, mehndi/ cocktail and the wedding," says Chayanika.
