Pretty Anand Karaj With A Tropical Mehendi!

We love this new tropical-themed Mehendi that really made 2017 a hoot. Innovative ideas with fun additions are our thang this year and this wedding delivered on all counts. From fun checkers games to sweet Mehendi snacks in cones to the coolest ombre tassles, pineapples, and flamingos - this was a treat for the eyes. Photography by Verus Weddings brought out the best of the wedding and the pink Sabya lehenga was to die for!

From The Bride:
My mom advised me to find a stylist from India– and thank God I listened (moms are always right)! Ripan and I connected with Nisha Kundnani of Bridelan and spent hours Facetiming and Whatsapping her. My ultimate goal was for Ripan and I to look timeless at each event so we can look back at our images and memories and not regret anything.
As for my event decor by Anais Events. I had been connected with Amrit Dhillon-Bains of Anais Events for many years and it had been a dream of mine to book her for our wedding events. She understood our needs, provided professional input and executed it all with perfection. In addition to coordination, the team gave us our Pinterest-worthy Wedding and Reception with the décor!
Anjali does both hair and make-up in the San Francisco Bay Area (she also travels to destination weddings). She takes her time to get to know the bride, is always willing to learn, and executes both make-up and hair perfectly on the big day. Although my make-up was done by Ashley Bias for all the wedding events (I would highly recommend her as well but she is focusing on celebrity make-up now), Anjali did my make-up for my pre-wedding shoot and did a great job. Her hair styling skills are fabulous and she also recently came out with her own line of extensions and lip-kit.
Verus Weddings, our photography and cinematography team really catered to Ripan and me during our events. One thing we especially enjoyed about working with them was their willingness to work with our creative ideas. Ripan and I wanted a photo lounge for our guests at the reception. We wanted something out of the ordinary – no photo booth, props, etc. We wanted a glamorous corner for our guests to be posed like models and for them to be able to keep those pictures for a lifetime. We have gone to so many homes where our family members and guests have framed or printed the images on large canvas and put them on their walls. Seeing this made us so happy and we really appreciate the time this team took for our events.
R&R Event Rentals were really special since they did everything it took to make my “Tropical Themed Mehndi” and Sangeet / Jaggo come to life with their décor. They have the cutest games and pieces that will surely add to any event. Highly recommend them!
