Neeharika & Ritik's Elegant Soiree in Udaipur

We love attention to detail. It's those little things that really make a whole wedding - the tiny vases put on each table, the cute gifts wrapped perfectly with twine and all the drama that surrounds the bride. Neeharika and Ritik's wedding was elegance personified - and the pretty little add-ons like that 'BRIDE' wine glass and the gorgeous decor are totally going to be making up a bulk of our Pinterest boards. Their #hashtag was very popular too - check out #neeritik for more amazing ideas. Shot by Phototantra
Meet Neeharika & Ritik
"I had always wanted a destination wedding - I wanted all my close family and friends to be together for the 3 days and enjoy each function without having the stress to go back home at night or go to work the next morning. We have a large group of friends and had almost a 100 friends who came for the wedding. The wedding was divided between Delhi & Udaipur."
The Mehendi
"At the Mehendi, there was a wishing tree where everyone wrote small notes for us. My bridesmaids were all in phulkari sarees in different colours which we got from Amritsar- apt for our Punjabi wedding. The Sangeet decor on the other hand, was Moroccan themed in shades of blue and burgundy. To match that, even the food was Moroccan and Lebanese that night. The Chura ceremony was another idea altogether, the old village theme decor. Absolutely serene and peaceful just perfect for the wedding morning."
The Wedding
"Ritik came on hisbaraat on an elephant and we had thepheras on the rooftop of the hotel overlooking the lake. The view was amazing. Thepheras were followed by a wedding dinner in the lawns. Both of us being not so traditional, wanted to say our vows to each other and did that at the wedding dinner. Following which, champagne was popped and then we cut the cake and were then surprised by lots of fireworks! It was all so magical.
We had some live music that night outside with lots of old Bollywood and English music. The end of the night was an after party called 'Forever Young'- a name so apt for the night since each and every person whether young or not-so-young came out in their full party form and partied till the morning."
Reception
From the bride: At the beginning itself we were clear, that since I love everything personalised, we needed to have attention to detail. Even small things like keys to their rooms - a floral leather card case ( same florals as the wedding card) with our R&N stamps were given to our guests which had the room key and an itinerary. It was something small that everyone could also take back with them."
All of our vendors were warm and intuitive - they did a fabulous job. From helping us with check-ins to creating a hookah bar to choreographing the entire song-dance routine - everyone had my interests in mind and kept things beautiful"
