A neon green lehenga to start off the wedding festivities - can it get more colourful than that? Well, add in a flower petal holi at the mehendi and some seriously kitsch decor and we think we just found the most colorful Mehendi ever on WMG. The "Tota Pandit", The Candy Floss Station and the ultra glam outfits were all shot to perfect by Jodi Clickers !
PS: Our favourite outfit is still the elegant, soft pink saree at the reception.
Meet Samaira & Dilkash
"We met through our brothers, who are best of friends and who used to study together in school. Once we met with our families, things started to take off," explains Samaira.
The Mehendi
The Engagement & Youngsters Party
From The Bride:"My vision for the wedding was different for every event. I wanted to create a very comfortable ambience and I wanted to keep it vibrant. Also, we had a lot of my friends from Delhi as well from abroad who were attending the wedding so I wanted to blend both cultures and ideas. The wedding was my vision and it was to create an enchanted garden - fairy-tale-ish look. My Mehendi was more of a quirky Meena bazaar kind of a theme - colourful and happy. The cocktails or Sufi night was my favourite as I wanted to create a environment that is close to Jim Morrison and his style. While the Youngsters Night was a beautiful Spanish countryside theme," adds Samaira.
