A bride who themed her wedding - Cinderella and her Prince Charming is definitely a disney fan. But really, with a billowing Elie Saab dress with her sparkly Jimmy Choos and a horse drawn carriage to match, this truly was a fairytale wedding.. Dipak Studios completely captured the vibe of the wedding and the beautiful elegant decor.
Meet Ankita & Manmeet
"Our parents had arranged a dinner at the Flamigo Restaurant in Wassenaar (The Netherlands), that was the first time we saw each other. I (Ankita) knew the entire family already, but never before got to meet Manmeet as he worked in London. So yes, we sat there, had snacks and then went to another table far from the main table to chit-chat ; I was relaxed and he was the same (he told me months later when we remembered this first meeting) – it was a very promising thing to me, that I was very comfortable with him and so was he. Afterwards, we decided to meet the next day, a real date. We talked over the phone after that and very soon we took the first official step – Roka! And then everything really started, more dates, more talking, getting to know one another etc. We had a fab time whenever he used to fly over from London to The Netherlands – which was almost every weekend!" explains Ankita. "One day, after an amazing day and dinner he dropped me home, but we decided to go for a walk. We went to this place with a lake and hanging trees above it, which I love, love love – so I started to explain why I liked the scenery. All this while talking I walked towards the lake and did not even get to know that he wasn’t walking with me (very much engrossed in my story-telling haha). Once I noticed, I wanted to turn back, but he said ‘ Waiit!’ – and of course I was way to curious why I wasn’t allowed to look back I turned and saw him on his knees! I did not know what to say, what to do or how to react – I started crying with a huge smile on my face, ran to him and hugged him tightly! He got the change to finally ask ‘ will you marry me?’ and I said ‘ YES YES YES ‘ and my most wanted ring – Cartier Solitaire was put on my finger!" adds Ankita. The Christian Wedding
