In her words "My partner is from Melbourne and I’m originally from Adelaide. He was down in Adelaide for the weekend and that is where I bumped into him on a night out. It was a coincidence because the nightclub is called ‘Heaven’, so you can say we met in heaven. As soon as I saw him I thought something was going to happen somewhere down the track- I suppose you could say ‘it was meant to be’. While we seemed to kept seeing each other at various events we didn't really speak until one day we added each other on Facebook. What followed was a long distance relationship of 3 years until I moved to Melbourne which is where he asked me to marry him:
From the bride and her sister: The backdrop of this engagement was Meadowbank receptions - it's a venue with heritage meaning and a nice green valley. The venue tied in perfectly with our vintage/rustic theme as the surrounding gardens and pool gave us the opportunity to experiment with the elements we wanted to.
Our theme was vintage with a fairytale feel to it. To bring that vision to life we had a candy bar in colors of blush and white, with glass jars having pastel colored candy inside that guests could take home. We also had a decorative swing draped with vines in green and plum and white birdcages that gave the vintage feel to the entire event. We decided to wear Anushree Reddy outfits because we were in love with the colours and her girly aesthetic really worked well with our concept. Infact both me and my sister had Anushree outfits on.
