Elegant Rooftop wedding in Delhi
BY The WMG Bride | 07 May, 2015 | 2 min read
This intimate rooftop wedding shows elegance and restraint in so many lovely details. From the white and gold color palette to the peach lehenga and the lovely little detail of having corsages on the wrist for every bridesmaid. Shot by Rishabh Agarwal photography, Tricia and Hemant's intimate affair is beautiful in its simplicity.

From the bride -Tricia: We wanted a simple intimate celebration for close friends and family and our wedding was just that with lots of DIY elements thrown in.
The Leela was such a beautiful setting that we kept the rest of the décor minimal, just lots of orange marigold as I associated it with traditional Indian weddings. Our talented family pitched in to help- my friend made our invites in less than a day and my lovely neighbour made white and gold cupcakes which we fit into these gorgeous white and gold boxes as favors. We had corsages of peach roses for the ladies and ivory gold turbans for all the men, plus lots of beautiful red stoles for everyone as additional give-aways.
Another close friend Anupriya Grover at Amore Design Studio made the outfits for me, my mum and sister. I have no idea how Anupriya did it but my lehenga was unusual, beautiful, elegant and in the exact shade of warm peach that I imagined. She was a dream to work with and thought of everything - from hand-making fuschia carnation latkans to gifting Hemant a fuschia pocket square that matched the lining of my lehenga.
Our guest book was a giant photo canvas that our guests signed messages on, and we had little 'advice coasters' where they left us quirky and naughty messages! Finally, I was so grateful for Priyanka and Rish who went out of their way to help and were such a wonderful team to work with overall.
