So, what is a drape saree?
Well, a drape saree is a pre-stitched form of the saree, which is a cool, modern twist to the traditional garment. It is an outfit which has a drape like a saree on top, but might be very different in terms of the silhouette otherwise. This one falls more in the Indo-western category.

So how is it different from a pre-stitched saree?
Well, the basic concept is the same, but draped sarees these days come in a variety of crossovers. These days, sarees are being crossed with dhotis, pants, palazzos and even tunics, gowns and skirts to give them an all-new look and feel, and not to mention, making them way easier to wear and carry around! A pre stitched saree mostly looks like the traditional saree, only stitched in advance to make it easier to wear.
