A Beautiful Jalandhar Wedding With A Bride In Bright Pink Lehenga
BY Aakanksha | 21 Dec, 2018 | 1 view | 5 min read
A wedding that was nothing short of a grand celebration, a global guest list, and a bride who had her wedding in the same backyard where she used to play as a kid were the things that made us fall in love with this wedding. The bride got custom outfits for her engagement and mehendi and wore a bright pink Sabyasachi for her wedding, and looked gorgeous in each of them. The wedding was grand with beautiful decor at each of the functions and Shri Gurudev Photographers and Harleen Deol Photography captured the candid moments during the wedding in a stunning manner!

From The Bride:
"We finally tied the knot on the 16th February, 2018. All our family and friends became a part of our big day and most of them flew from different parts of the world. We had a week long wedding with functions back to back. Though the party and the festive vibe was a week long, nobody got drained out! Everyone had their party shoes does on till the end. The hashtag for the wedding that my friends and cousins came up with was #whenKIMmetHIM using my nick name in it. I had a wedding that any girl could have dreamed about and it was turned into reality by my family. I literally had the wedding of my dreams. Another thing unique about my wedding was that my Anand Karaj was not in a gurudwara, but in a garden. The reason for that was my grandfather. I was very close to him, and had vivid memories of him playing with me and taking me for strolls in that garden. And I wanted to him to be a part of my wedding even though he couldn't be physically present, so we decided to have the Anand Karaj in the garden rather than a traditional gurudwara."
I had a very good experience with all my vendors and they are highly recommended.
All my wedding jewellery was from Jaipur diamonds. They have jewellery according to everyone’s taste and choice . I believe jewellery plays a very important role to make your look perfect as a bride and Jaipur diamonds helped me in achieving that. Well trusted jewellers. I always wanted very candid pictures for my wedding. Harjot and his team from Shri Gurudev photography understood what we wanted and delivered us exactly the same. Another reason why I chose them was because I believed that they cover Sikh weddings beautifully, and in a way no one else can. Love their work and will recommend them to every Sikh bride. I had Harleen Deol as the photographer for my wedding day. She is the best when it comes to candid pictures and perfect shots. She won’t make you pose or anything of that sort and will take beautiful pictures of you without you even knowing. She is very talented and incredibly sweet. In awe of her work! Neha and Saurabh from Bling and Whistles were my wedding decorators. They are an extremely talented team with an excellent taste. They did all my functions and created a different theme on every function. They have a big role in making my pictures look so pretty. Highly recommended as wedding decorators. Lovely Imaginations designed my wedding invitations, working around the colours of my outfits. They were very professional in their work and delivered us with very classy yet elegant invitations. Not to mention the coolest e-invitation video they made for us. The makeup artist from Lakme Salon, Ludhiana did an excellent job. They gave me a very subtle and natural look that I wanted. Amarjit was my make up artist for all my functions and she understood what I wanted and did an amazing job.
The team of Anita Dongre was very sweet and helped me in picking up the perfect engagement outfit. While I was still debating on the colour for my engagement outfit they actually customised my whole outfit! I always wanted to wear green on my mehndi. Astha Narang chose the most beautiful shade of green which goes best with my skin tone and customised a beautiful green sharara for me. Abhinav Mishra designed my cocktail outfit which was in yellow colour. His mirror work is amazing and I dazzled on my cocktail party in his outfit. He is the most sweetest and talented designer I have ever met and more than me I think he is my mother’s favourite. Every bride should have at least one outfit from Abhinav Mishra , it’s a must. As any other girl I always wanted to be Sabyasachi bride. The whole process of selecting your perfect wedding lehnga to the trials and fittings was like a beautiful journey. Treweni , at Sabya Delhi store was incredibly sweet and had a little present for me from their end, which was a customised potli for me complimenting my lehnga. I thought that was a really sweet gesture from the team.
