Old is gold, but older gold is even more precious! There is something special about wearing something your mom, your grandma or mother-in-law had worn on her wedding too. We recently told you about some brides who wore their mum's bridal outfit for their wedding, and jewellery is something that's much easier to work around! Here are some WMG brides who truly rocked heirloom jewellery on their big day!
Real Bride Naaz: Wore her (many) great-grandmother's jewellery

While Naaz designed her wedding jewellery herself (yup!), she wore a few stunning heirloom pieces during her wedding functions, which completely floored us! The jewellery on her Sangeet was her mother's and the feet jewellery at the wedding and the Mehendi are called patriyan - both are ancestral jewellery belonging to her father's great grandmother. Each piece weighed half a kg!
Real Bride Divjyot: Wore stunning vintage jewellery pieces

Mallika wore a polki choker and a layered pearl and diamond necklace which was sort of simple, but really made her bridal look unique!
Real Bride Shahza: Wore her mom's bridal mathapatti on her Mehendi

Who said you have to reuse your mom's jewellery on only your wedding? Shahza rocked her mom's bridal mathapatti on her Mehendi, and it's still so stunning!
Real Bride Sumiran: Mixed and matched old and new jewellery

Sumiran wore a mix of her mother’s heirloom pieces and some jewellery from Kishandas and Co. Who would guess it's not all a set?
Old is gold, right?
