The problematic thing about us at WMG is that we wake up with Instagram and sleep while trying to screen-shot another wonky shot of wedding decor...EVERYDAY! It's a routine, you know. And this will be followed by lots of "oohs" and aahs" and gasps - so people around us really wonder if we are a little cuckoo in the head. But all that ogling won't go in vain this year because we decided that 2016 will have better wedding trends courtesy Instagram. And so we shook heaven and earth on our Insta account and found you some cool stuff - the hottest trends to take home from Insta this year. So the next time you see a girl at an airport randomly gasping for breath staring at her Insta screen, you know, it might just be one of us at Team WMG.
It is about creating an alternative universe - and enchanted fairytale-ish decor is fast taking over our screens. Add rhinestones for glamour and a dark vibe to boot.
Vintage theme gets a bigger makeover - with tea cups now taking birdcages. Get teapots in beautiful china and place some flowers for extra effect as table centerpieces
Gota is back - not on clothes this time, but as a big, big decor idea. We loved how Rani Pink, the new-age wedding decor company, used gota as a theme at this mehendi. Mithai Pink is the hue we will always love!
Bridesmaid photos get a whole new level of fierce, with photos resembling more of a stylized Vogue photoshoot, or a badass Hollywood movie rather than the regular girly shots.
